The Wynecoop RANCH HOUSE Suite is located on the far side of the property at Sycamore Springs with it's own parking and separate entrance by catwalk from the paved parking area to the front door. Your luggage rolls easily onto the front porch and through the entry that opens to a great room with 16 foot vaulted ceilings of honey colored knotty Pine.
The entire front of the suite has floor to ceiling windows that overlook the water garden, the Briarpatch Room ,one of the ponds and the stream below.
Walnut stained knotty pine plank flooring gives a casual elegance to this suite as well as the ledgerock propane fireplace and hickory kitchen cabinets. Tastefully framed artwork and potted plants give this suite an instant feeling of comfort and class.
This suite is air-conditioned in Summer and heated in Winter by a thermostatically controlled Heat pump at the flip of a switch. The gas fireplace gives auxiliary heat as well as ambience for romantic evenings with a glass of wine from one of our local wineries nearby. Satellite TV and wireless internet allow you to stay in touch, watch hundreds of stations, yet relax in beautiful surroundings in this peaceful location.
The dining room features an unbeatable view overlooking the grounds in a turret shaped room with cedar shake roof; an unusual architectural feature indoors. Heavy barn wood posts are vivid reminders of this historic ranch before the days of tractors and gas powered combines.
The kitchen is fully equipped with large 25 CF side-by-side refrigerator/freezer, electric, glass-topped cook stove, dishwasher and large built-in microwave. The kitchen decor reflects old vineyards and new wineries which now dot the Verde Valley from Jerome to Camp Verde. The spacious kitchen, open to the living room, is well equipped with new cookware, linens, dinnerware and counter appliances such as Coffee maker, blender, toaster, and coffee grinder.
Off the great room is the laundry room that gives you the convenience of a washer and dryer plus iron and ironing board.
Each spacious bedroom offers a king size Sealy Posturepedic bed, one decorated with gold & red satin comforter, the other with a Western tapestry spread. Both are flanked by oak nightstands and dressers and tasteful artwork. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. One has a large bath with tile floors and shower for two. Corian countertop and jetted tub surround plus ledge rock accents compliment the plush towels and earth tones in the décor. The other bath offers gold fixtures, tile countertop, a shower, plus a wall to wall closet with mirrored doors.
Sliding glass doors to private porches can be left opened on Summer nights where sounds of the stream will lull you to sleep.
Reclining lawn chairs welcome you to the porch to enjoy the sounds of the water below and the verdant views of the grounds. You might hear the distant sounds of cows lowing or goats bleating, a coyote's howl, and owl's hoot, and most certainly the frogs wooing their mates around the ponds. This suite sits high above the grounds below and you almost believe you're in a mammoth tree house as you look straight out at Willows, Black Walnuts, Mulberry trees, and Sycamores.
The spa that overlooks the pastures and pond is a short walk from your suite. Plush robes and towels are provided for a private soak in our unique spa cabin overlooking the water.
